The white Vermentino grape is at home in the vineyards on Sardinia and Corsica, but also in Tuscany and Piedmont, as well as in the Languedoc. Vermentino wines are typically full-bodied white wines with a fresh acidity. The intense fruity taste includes a subtle mineral undertone that gives length and structure. Vermentino is considered by connoisseurs to be one of the most sophisticated and characterful Mediterranean white wine varieties. Due to its complexity, it goes well with many Mediterranean dishes, especially with fish. The perfect summer wine to conjure that Mediterranean feeling!

The first documented mention of the grape variety dates back to the 13th century. Today the variety is grown almost exclusively in the hilly border region between Italy and Slovenia. The Rebula white wine is generally a light wine with high acidity and floral notes.

Juhfark is an autochthonous Hungarian white wine variety. This traditional grape is mainly grown in Somló and on the Northern shore of Lake Balaton. The name “Juhfark” means “lambs tail”, which refers to the elongated shape of the grapes, which curve at their ends. Juhfark wines are elegant, but also strong in taste, with a mineral note and pleasant acidity.
